Mission Statement:
The Hillsdale County Board of REALTORS® promotes the success of its members by encouraging professionalism, providing educational opportunities, fostering member communication, providing member services, and participating in real estate public policy development. The Board seeks to adhere to and promote Fair Housing Policies and to promote equity, diversity and inclusion in all of its activities. The Board seeks to enhance the public image of REALTORS® and promote their involvement in the community.

CONVENTION SCHOLARSHIPS
The Hillsdale County Board of REALTORS offers six Convention Scholarships for either the Michigan REALTORS® or the National Association of REALTORS® Conventions of $500 each to members who qualify.
The 2023 MR Convention will be held at the Detroit Mariott at the Renaissance Center from September 20-22.
The 2023 NAR Convention (NAR NXT) will be held in Anaheim, CA from November 14 to 16.
The rules for receiving scholarships are as follows:

Applications must be received by the Board Office (hcboard@yahoo.com or 517-439-1770) between June 1 and September 1 for the MR Convention and between June 1 and November 1 for the NAR Convention.

Applications must be for the current year convention.

Preference will be given to new applicants (those who have never attended before) provided they apply during the specified times.

Applicants will receive funds on a first come, first served basis provided the above criteria have been met.

Applicants must be members in good standing.

Funds will be disbursed upon presentation of proof of attendance.

Members who receive scholarships will be asked to give a report on the convention at the Annual Board Business meeting the following year.
